Manchester United have reached an agreement with Italian club Atalanta for the signing of Brazilian midfielder Éderson in a deal worth £35 million.
According to reports, the 26-year-old will move to Old Trafford on a four-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.
The deal, which includes add-ons that could increase its total value, is expected to be completed pending final formalities.
Éderson, who has been capped by Brazil, is set to become one of the first major signings under United’s current transfer plans as the club strengthens its midfield options ahead of the new season.
