Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has added another academic achievement to his football career after graduating from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship.
The Coventry City forward graduated with Merit, describing the qualification as another proud moment away from the football pitch.
Awoniyi said he has always believed that being a professional footballer should not prevent players from continuing their education, adding that learning has become an important part of his personal development.
The 29-year-old thanked the PFA Business School, its lecturers and fellow students for their support throughout the programme, while also appreciating his family and friends for their encouragement.
The Nigerian forward has continued to combine his professional football career with academic development, with the latest qualification focused on leadership and management within the global football industry.
