The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has formally welcomed Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara back into what he described as the political family that brought him to power, declaring that their reconciliation has brought an end to months of political tension.
Wike made the remarks while speaking with journalists after inspecting ongoing infrastructure projects, including the ISEX Road Corridor and the Apo-Karshi Road in the Federal Capital Territory. He said Fubara’s return to the Rainbow Coalition marked the resolution of the political crisis that had divided their camp.
According to the FCT Minister, returning to the coalition was the only viable path for the governor, expressing confidence that the reconciliation would strengthen political stability and cooperation moving forward.
