China PR U-20 coach Wang Jun says he is satisfied with his team’s performance after the side played out a goalless draw against Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
China held Nigeria to a hard-fought 0-0 draw in their second Group F match, leaving both teams in contention for qualification to the knockout stages.
Wang praised his players for their defensive organisation and discipline, saying the encounter with Nigeria was crucial to their chances of progressing from the group.
He admitted that China missed some scoring opportunities but maintained that he was ultimately satisfied with the result.
China will face Spain in their final group game, while Nigeria will take on New Caledonia, with both teams needing positive results to strengthen their chances of reaching the Round of 16.
