Nigeria Lifts Ban on Christian Pilgrimage to Israel

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has announced the lifting of the ban on Christian pilgrimage to Israel.

The Commission’s Executive Secretary, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, made the announcement at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, according to a statement issued by the Commission’s Director of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka.

Bishop Adegbite explained that the decision allows Nigerian pilgrims to travel to Israel through the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.

He added that the Commission would not route pilgrims through Jordan, citing security concerns and stressing that the safety of Nigerian pilgrims remains a top priority.
