Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive scoring form for Bursaspor, scoring in their 2-2 home draw against Esenler Erokspor in the Turkish league.
Iheanacho opened the scoring in the 16th minute to give Bursaspor an early advantage before the visitors fought back to secure a share of the points.
The goal took Iheanacho’s tally to nine goals in seven league appearances this season. The Nigerian has also provided two assists, underlining his growing influence in Bursaspor’s attack.
Despite dropping two points at home, Bursaspor moved to the top of the table with 16 points, level with second-placed Batman Petrolspor but ahead on goal difference.
Bursaspor will face Batman Petrolspor next weekend in a top-of-the-table clash, with Iheanacho expected to lead the attack as the Turkish side continues its push for promotion.
