Today FM’s correspondent gathered that on Saturday, soldiers had an altercation with some alleged oil thieves in the area, which lead to the death of a soldier.
The soldiers upon receipt of the information invaded the community with some fierce looking soldiers deployed in the community.
A source within the community who confirmed the development to Today FM, alleged that the fully armed soldiers have held the community hostage and are allegedly destroying properties.
The Public Relations officer of Six Division, Nigerian Army, Iweha Ikedichi Onyenonachi is yet to respond to text messages sent to him for reaction to the development.
