Akuku-Toru Chairman to Flag Off Six Development Projects

The Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Aboiya-a Bob-Fubara, is set to flag off six development projects across various communities in the council area.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Soibi Oruwari, the chairman invited stakeholders, community leaders, residents, and members of the public to witness the commencement of the projects.

The statement said the groundbreaking ceremony would take place in Soku Community and reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and equitable development.

According to the statement, the projects are aimed at addressing critical needs in security, housing, commerce, and community development while improving residents’ welfare.

The projects include the construction of a Corps Members’ Lodge in Obonoma, remodelling of the Abonnema Market, construction of the Chairman’s Lodge in Abonnema, construction of the Soku Town Hall, completion of the Police Station in Elem-Sangama, and completion of a Corps Members’ Lodge in Idama Community.
