The management of UPTH frowned at what it described as a scandalous social media propaganda set to damage its image.
The hospital also said it did not record any infant mortality in its S.C.B.U as a result of electrical power outage.
The Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, Elabha Meni, however acknowledged that the hospital had a faulty transformer, but noted that during the period, the standby Generator serviced the hospital, with all emergency areas fully powered.
