The Police in Abia State have foiled an abduction of an unnamed man who was forced into the booth of a car around Ubakala near Umuahia, the state capital.

The Police in Abia State have foiled an abduction of an unnamed man who was forced into the booth of a car around Ubakala near Umuahia, the state capital.
Security operatives trailed the vehicle to a Police Stop and Search point at Obowo  in Imo State after a tip-off by a witness.
The detectives freed the victim while his abductors were arrested and taken into custody.
According to the Nigeria Police Force website, the Abia State Central Investigations Department, Umuahia is investigating the matter.
