General

Retrenched workers of the Port Harcourt Flour Mills have cried out over the nonpayment of their exit benefits.

The respondent, who expressed their grievances during a protest at the premises of the company on Station road in Old Port Harcourt Township, questioned the decision of the management to rely on the Rivers State Government for the payment of their entitlements.
Our correspondent reports that the premises of the Port Harcourt Flour Mill Factory in town area of Port Harcourt remained under locks while the protest lasted.
There has not been any reaction from the management of the company.
