The National President of the Primary Healthcare Workers Association of Nigeria, Daniel Atieme who made this known, said the workers under the Rivers State primary healthcare board who have not been promoted for the past thirteen years are missing on the schedule for the ongoing promotion in the state.
In an interview with Todayfm’s Stella Saasongu, Atieme who expressed doubt that the exercise would be completed within one month as instructed by the governor, stressed that governor NYESOM WIKE has failed in the area of promotion and employment in the state.
Atieme who further, urged the governor to consider non-indigenes in the ongoing employment in the civil service to promote oneness in the country, called on the governor elect to do better in the areas governor WIKE has failed.
Recall that Governor Nyesom Wike had on the 19th of March announced that his administration will implement outstanding promotion in the state civil service and fulfil its promise of employing ten thousand youths into the service.
