The operatives, made up of a combined team of personnel drawn from the Anti-Cultism Unit, the Octopus Strike Force, the Mile One Police, and the Azikiwe Police stations, arrested about fifty-five suspects.
The raid comes five days after the warring cult groups in Diobu reportedly agreed to a peace deal last Wednesday and declared a cease fire following a cult war that claimed some lives.
The spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the development to Today FM correspondent.
SP Iringe-Koko said the arrested suspects are being profiled and anyone found culpable will be arraigned in court at the end of investigation.
