According to a video shared with the post, it was disclosed that between January 6 and 12, a total of two hundred and eleven incidents of oil theft and vandalism were reported.
Seven cases of vandalism were recorded including a wellhead in the Umuajuloke community and sacks of crude oil found in Iba community which were confiscated in Rivers State.
The Federal Government had revealed that more than four point three trillion naira worth of crude oil was stolen in seven thousand, one hundred and forty three pipeline vandalism cases within five years.
