Twenty-three-year-old ADEYEMI secured a deal with Fox 2000 following good reviews of her book, which has been described as Avatar: The Last Airbender meets Black Lives Matter”.
There are also plans to adapt the novel of the San Diego, California-based creative writing coach into a full-length film.
TOMI ADEYEMI is a graduate of Harvard University, and a recipient of a fellowship to study West African mythology and culture in Salvador, Brazil.
