The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Mike Achimugu, has stressed the need for passengers to comply with aviation safety regulations and follow instructions from cabin crew.
Achimugu, in a statement, described recent incidents involving Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) and a female passenger aboard an Ibom Air flight as “very avoidable,” warning that non-compliance could lead to serious consequences.
He clarified that while the NCAA lacks the authority to prosecute offenders, airlines have the right to blacklist any passenger considered a safety risk.
