Coach Madugu has described Nigeria’s friendly matches against Cameroon as important preparation ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. He said facing strong opponents will help improve the team’s tactical awareness, competitiveness and overall performance before the tournament.
He added that the friendlies will also help the coaching staff assess player fitness levels and finalise squad selection ahead of the continental championship.
