The husband of the journalist, Anthony Wokocha, revealed this when members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Rivers State Branch, paid the family a courtesy visit.
Wokocha said the kidnappers contacted him on Saturday and asked him to pay one hundred and fifty million naira for his wife’s freedom.
He also disclosed that the matter is being handled by a special unit of the Nigerian police in charge of kidnap cases in Rivers State.
