The Kalabari Democratic Front has congratulated businessman and politician Dumo Lulu-Briggs on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
In a statement signed by National Secretary Daso Denise-Bobmuel and Asari-Toru Coordinator Biobele George, the group described his emergence as recognition of years of public service, leadership and contributions to the development of Rivers State.
The group also praised the peaceful conduct of the party’s governorship primaries and said the outcome reflected the confidence party members have in his candidacy.
According to the statement, Lulu-Briggs’ unopposed emergence in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area demonstrates the widespread support he enjoys among the people.
The group expressed confidence that his experience and leadership qualities would help address governance challenges and promote development if elected.
