Gunmen have kidnapped 15 passengers along the Utonkon–Okpoga Road in Benue State, local sources confirmed.
Jude Onwe, a youth leader in Utonkon district, narrated that the incident occurred while a commercial bus carrying 16 passengers was traveling from Utonkon to Okpoga in Okpokwu Local Government Area.
Details of the attackers and the current whereabouts of the victims remain unclear, and authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the rescue operation.
