The meeting of G-Seven Foreign Ministers in Italy was called to review the developments in the Syrian war, particularly the alleged use of chemical weapon and the United States’ role.
However; all the participating nations agreed that there was no solution to the Syria crisis with President BASHAR AL-ASSAD in power.
United States Secretary of States, REX TILLERSON, said it was time to put an end to the BASHAR AL-ASSAD regime in Syria.
In a separate interview; United Kingdom Foreign Secretary, BORIS JOHNSON, said it was up to Russia to decide whether or not to keep supporting the Syrian regime.
Meanwhile; the US Secretary of State, REX TILLERSON is due for talks in Russia to try and persuade the Kremlin to withdraw support for the ASSAD regime in Syria.
TILLERSON is also expected to meet officials from allied Middle Eastern countries before heading to Moscow.
