Former workers of the Port Harcourt Floor Mill have approched the rival faction of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State led by WILLIAMS ADAH for help in their dispute with the management of the company.

 

Former workers of the Port Harcourt Flour Mill have approached the rival faction of the Nigeria Labor Congress in Rivers State led by WILLIAMS ADAH for help in their dispute with the management of the company.

President of the Junior Staff Union in Port Harcourt Flour Mills, IKECHUKWU BENJAMIN made the appeal when he led members of his group on a courtesy visit to the NLC factional leader.

BENJAMIN said the Flour Mill was liquidated on the 31st of May this year with a promise by the management to pay the redundancy benefit of the laid-off workers, but that has been delayed.

On his part, the leader of the factional NLC in Rivers state, WILLIAMS ADAH promised to intervene in the matter.
