Dozens of newly shortlisted Nigerian Army recruits from Imo State were injured after the commercial bus conveying them to the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria, Kaduna State, was involved in a road crash on Saturday.
The recruits were travelling for documentation and the commencement of military training when the accident occurred. The exact cause of the crash and the number of casualties have yet to be officially confirmed.
