Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare says he is focused on improving after scoring his first competitive goal for Dutch club Ajax.
Arokodare came off the bench to score in the 74th minute and provide an assist in Ajax’s 4-2 victory over FC Sion in the UEFA Conference League play-off first leg.
The Nigerian forward expressed satisfaction with his contribution but said his priority remains getting better and helping Ajax achieve its objectives. Arokodare joined Ajax after a difficult spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers and is looking to establish himself at the Dutch club.
His goal and assist against Sion marked an encouraging start to his competitive career with Ajax as he continues to compete for a regular place in the team.
