Gospel music artist and self-styled Prince of the Niger Delta, Asu Ekiye, has announced the end of his 28-year marriage to Kunemofa Asu.
Ekiye disclosed in a public statement that the marriage ended a year ago, but said he deliberately delayed the announcement to allow time for perspective, clarity and quiet acceptance after what he described as a deeply personal transition.
The gospel artist said he has chosen to close the chapter with grace, gratitude and dignity while looking forward to the possibilities of a new season. He described the marriage as a deeply personal journey marked by growth, experience and reflection.
