CBN Warns Against Rejection of Standard N100 Note

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has warned members of the public, businesses, and financial institutions against rejecting the standard N100 banknote, reaffirming that it remains legal tender across the country.

The apex bank stressed that all standard N100 notes issued by the CBN are valid for transactions and should be accepted without discrimination.

The CBN warned that individuals and organisations found rejecting the banknote risk enforcement measures in line with the provisions of the CBN Act.

The bank urged Nigerians to continue accepting the standard N100 note for all legitimate transactions and comply with the nation’s legal tender regulations.
