President and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has called on Nigeria and other African countries to take bold steps towards driving economic growth and prosperity across the continent.
Dangote said African countries must deliberately develop their economies and strengthen their institutions to attract greater global respect and investment.
He made the call in Lagos during the signing ceremony for the initial public offering of Dangote Petroleum and Petrochemicals FZE, held at Eko Hotels.
The business mogul stressed the need for African nations to pursue policies and initiatives that would strengthen their economies and create an environment capable of attracting sustainable investment.
