Nigeria’s Headline Inflation Drops to 15.43% in July

Nigeria’s headline inflation rate dropped from 15.91 per cent in June to 15.43 per cent in July 2026, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS.

In its Consumer Price Index report released on Monday, the NBS said the July figure represents a 0.48 percentage-point decrease compared with the June 2026 headline inflation rate.

The latest decline indicates a moderation in the pace of increase in the prices of goods and services during the month under review.
