Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their third head coach of the season. The Italian tactician has signed a five-year contract with Spurs, who are currently one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
The club is battling to avoid its first top-flight relegation since 1977. De Zerbi will have more than a week to prepare for his first match in charge, an away fixture against Sunderland scheduled for April 12.
