Yobe State Governor IBRAHIM GAIDAM says Nigerian troops did not have the needed number of combatants to prosecute the war against Boko Haram militants during the past administration. Governor GEIDAM also said the troops lacked modern weapons to fight insurgents leading to significant losses in battles against the insurgents. The Yobe State Governor was speaking in Damaturu, the state capital during a reception for the newly-sworn-in service chiefs at the Government House.
