Governor Wike spoke on Thursday at the flag-off of the 11th flyover project, which was performed by former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, at the Rumuola- Ikwerre Road-Rumuokwuta Roundabout in ObioAkpor Local Government Area of the State.
The Governor also challenged Rivers Politicians who are base in Abuja to show their political strength by the number of converts they can win for their principal
Governor Wike also appealed those living and doing business along the project sites to endure the difficulties that will come during the construction work
While assuring that the project will not be abandoned, Governor Wike said his government has released money for the payment of all compensations to owners of structures and public infrastructures.
On his part, the Former Governor of Cross Rivers state, Donald Duke said Governor Wike urban renewal project has given a face lift to Port Harcourt City.
