The immediate-past Governor of Rivers State declared that Governor WIKE has no evidence, but alleged that he was forging documents to vilify him.
AMAECHI’s comment is in response to Governor WIKE’s remarks during a meeting with traditional rulers in the state when he claimed to be in possession of overwhelming evidence of corruption by the past administration.
According to a statement released by the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Media Office, the Transportation Minister’s media team said Governor WIKE cannot prove what it described as deceitful and worn-out allegations of corruption against AMAECHI.
The group maintained that ROTIMI AMAECHI ran a transparent administration devoid of all the allegations Governor WIKE has been attributing to him.
The Amaechi Media Office challenged Governor WIKE to account for revenue that have accrued to Rivers State through the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee, the Paris Club Loan Refunds, monies borrowed from commercial banks and internally generated revenue of the state government.
