This position was made public by the deputy President of the Senate and the chairman of the senate committee on constitutional review, OvieOmo-Agege while speaking on a television interview yesterday.
Senator Omo-Agege who explained that only an amendment of section 9 of the constitution will allow for total overhaul of the constitution, however added that it will be tedious to amend section nine of the constitution.
He also revealed that over three hundred and fifty memoranda have so far been received.
The federal lawmaker also assured Nigerians that the president will assent his signature to any bill that will foster the unity of the country.
