Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Visits Rivers State to Flag-Off Construction of Bony-Bodo Road

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO is visiting Rivers State today to perform the ceremony.
The Executive Director of Marine Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority, SEKONTE DAVIES has joined other well-meaning individuals to welcome the Vice President to Rivers State.
SEKONTE DAVIES also commended former Governor and now Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI CHIBUIKE AMAECHI for making the dream of the road construction to come true.
The NPA Executive Director also thanked President MUHAMMADU BUHARI for fulfilling his campaign promises.
SEKONTE DAVIES noted in a statement that the fulfillment of the promise by President BUHARI has strengthened the people the more, with a promise to remain in the ruling All Progressives Congress.
DAVIES also prayed to God for journey mercies for the Vice President and members of his entourage.
On his part; the Senator representing Rivers East, Senator ANDREW UCHENDU commended President BUHARI for taking steps on the construction of Bonny-Bodo road, which had been domiciled in papers for a long time.
Senator UCHENDU is of the view that the commencement of the project shows that the Federal Government is committed to lifting the oil-rich region out of social and economic backwardness.
The Rivers East Senator enjoined Rivers people to and the Niger Delta in general to support the developmental projects of the Federal Government.
