Reports say the explosion also destroyed a truck that was conveying the soldiers attached to the 152 Battalion of the Nigerian Army.
The explosion comes a day after the burial of a senior army officer, MUHAMMED ABU ALI who was killed along with other soldiers by Boko Haram fighters in Borno State.
