The United Kingdom has stepped up the international military operation against Islamic State group in Syria. Reports quoting the Ministry of Defense said British RAF Tornado jets have carried out their first air strikes against the militants in Syria. The move comes after the House of Commons voted by 397 against 223 for UK action against in Syria, after a ten-hour debate. The Defense Ministry said four Tornados took off from the RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus shortly after the MPs approved air strikes.
