The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has accused some officials of INEC of criminal conspiracy in the ongoing election petition matters.

The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has accused some officials of INEC of criminal conspiracy in the ongoing election petition matters. The PDP alleges that some INEC officials were involved in a criminal conspiracy to falsify documents and reports on the conduct of elections in Rivers State. In a statement; the State Chairman of the party, FELIX OBUAH said it was necessary to draw the attention of the public to the alleged plot. OBUAH claims that the alleged fake report is backdated with the intention using it at the Election Petition Tribunals in a bid to have the elections nullified. The PDP Chairman further claims that the APC plans to subpoena the alleged corrupt INEC officials to tender the purported fake reports and also give evidence against the conduct of the election.
