The lawmaker representing Degema Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, FARAH DAGOGO, has described the Election Petition Tribunal that nullified his election as upsetting.
A statement released by the lawmaker explained that he has already begun the process of appealing the provocative judgment.
DAGOGO urged the people of Degema and his teeming supporters to remain calm as he is prepared to explore all legal means to validate the mandate that was freely and massively given to him in the April 11 elections.
He expressed belief in the sanctity of the Appeal Court to correct what he described as obvious irregularities in the Tribunal’s ruling.
