Super Falcons Edge South Africa to Reach WAFCON Final

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have secured their place in the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco after a dramatic 2-1 victory over South Africa.

The match, which lived up to its billing as a clash of titans, saw both sides push for dominance in a tightly contested semifinal encounter. With the scores level deep into the second half, Nigerian defender Michelle Alozie netted a decisive late goal to seal the win and send the nine-time champions into yet another WAFCON final.

The result ended South Africa’s title defence and ensured Nigeria’s quest for a tenth continental crown continues. The Super Falcons will now prepare to face their next opponent in what promises to be an electrifying final.
