The group led by former Central Bank Governor, Professor CHUKWUMA SOLUDO and a former presidential candidate, Professor PAT UTOMI, among others, demanded for an end to the incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Both Professors SOLUDO and UTOMI said there was no reason NNAMDI KANU should remain in prison custody or face secret trial in a democratic country that claims to practice the rule of law.
NNAMDI KANU and two others are being prosecuted by the Federal Government on charges of treason based on their membership of the pro-Biafra group, IPOB.
