The Minister is expected to brief the Senate Committee on a proposed partnership between the Federal Government and the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas company to complete the project.
The invitation to the Minister followed a motion on the urgent need for the completion of the Bodo-Bonny road linking the NLNG gas complex.
The motion was co-sponsored by the three Senators from Rivers State, who are Senator GEORGE THOMPSON SEKIBO of Rivers East; Senator MAGNUS ABE of Rivers South-East and Senator OSINACHUKWU IDEOZU of Rivers West.
