This followed a letter addressed to the Speaker, in which Governor NYESOM WIKE requested for the confirmation of AGUMA as member of the State Executive Council.
The move comes less than a week after Governor WIKE dissolved his cabinet, after first sacking one commissioner and the resignation of another.
Meanwhile; the Rivers State House of Assembly has confirmed the caretaker committee chairmen and members for Port Harcourt and Abua-Odual local government councils.
They include OLADIPO OGU who is coming in as Caretaker Chairmen for Abua-Odual and CHARLES CHIMA OLU as Caretaker Chairman for Port Harcourt City Local Government.
During the screening exercise, some lawmakers raised questions about the birth status of OLADIPO OGU on grounds of his name, which he later cleared.
Consequently, the screening debate followed, and the Speaker, IKUNYI OWAJI IBANI confirmed the incoming CTC chairmen and members of their committees through a voice vote.
