Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE had in a radio progrmme alleged that under CHIBUIKE AMEACHI, council chairmen and cabinet members were made to pay three million naira and two million naira respectively for the birthday celebration of JUDITH AMAECHI.
However; in a statement issued by her media aide, DIKE BEKWELE the former First Lady described as the allegation malicious.
The statement said it was ridiculous for the Governor to disparage the reputation of a woman who it said supported his emergence as chief of staff to the governor as the time his aspiration was to be a commissioner.
The statement further challenged the Governor him to prove his claim and added that there is no iota of veracity in the said allegation.
The former First Lady urged Rivers people to disregard the claims by Governor WIKE.
