We brought you a report on Wednesday that a group of Rumuji people, including men and women, staged a protest to the Government House in Port Harcourt to seek Governor NYESOM WIKE’s intervention in the dispute with the oil company.
However; the Youth President, JUSTICE EZE has denounced the Tuesday protesters for pursuing a personal agenda, which is not in the interest of the overall community.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, JUSTICE EZE also criticized CHIKODI OJIMS and OKAH FERDINAND who led the protest to the Government House.
EZE said what the community wants is peaceful coexistence with the company, stressing that the larger community stakeholders were in agreement with the position of the state government for people of Rumuji to be given employment opportunities based on their qualifications.
