Rivers State government to ban heavy duty trucks from plying Woji-Alesa road

Governor Wike made the declaration when he received the Managing Director of the Port Harcourt Refining Company, Ahmad Dikko at Government House, Port Harcourt.

 

The Governor said the state government under his reign has not received any form of support from the Port Harcourt Refinery, and so will not allow them access to the road when completed.

 

 

Rivers State Executive Council on Wednesday approved a contract award of N9bn for a road project which would link Woji in Obio Akpor Local Government Area to Port Harcourt refinery at Alesa in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.
