CP Disu who spoke during a training of his management team, Divisional Police Officers, Area Commanders, and Tactical Team across the State also called for conscious time management, emotional intelligence and active listening for officers and men of the command.
The commissioner of Police noted that while it is important for the training and retraining of police officer and menfor effective discharge of their responsibilities, the civilians also need training.
CP Disu expressed optimism that the training will help improve the performance of the police, and assured of regular training and retraining to officers for a better working experience.
In an interview with newsmen, Mercy Abu of IHP Consulting Services who delivered a lecture on Effectiveness at Work Place, said the training was aimed at improving the effectiveness of the police in their work place.
