The APC leaders also dismissed criticism against the former Governor and Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI for instigating the Stakeholders Meeting attended by Acting President YEMI OSINBAJO who he visited Rivers State last week.
Briefing newsmen at the end of a caucus meeting in Port Harcourt, the Deputy National Secretary of APC, ORJI NGOFA said it was not true that Rivers APC is divided.
NGOFA said the party observed that some persons who defected from APC are the same persons who joined the party recently, and merely returned to their former parties.
He said the same persons have been sponsoring fake stories about divisions and disunity within the APC, which he said are not true.
The APC national officer maintained that the party in Rivers State remains united, strong and peaceful.
On his part; the State Chairman of APC, Chief DAVIES IBIAMU-IKANYA spoke sid his party is ready for the supplementary elections in Etche and parts of Omuma local government areas.
