IKANYA was speaking is reaction to accusations against him by some youths from Andoni Local Government Area, who called for his removal as State Chairman of the APC.
He said those who staged the protest against him were not genuine members of APC, and called on the public to disregard their allegations.
You will recall that the Andoni Youth Wing of APC led by one SOLOMON FREDRICK EDEDEH marched to the State Secretariate of the party in Port Harcourt to register their grievances.
The protest leader said they have decided to stop recognizing DAVIES IKANYA as Local Government and State Chairman of APC following the defeat suffered by the party in the area during the rerun election last December.
