A Port Harcourt-based lawyer, OSI OLISAH says the decision by INEC shows that it was no longer independent.
OLISAH told newsmen in Port Harcourt that the challenge of security which INEC used as an excuse for the delay of the election is not substantial.
According to the lawyer; elections have been conducted in more volatile areas in the country without the much delay that has trailed the exercise in Rivers State.
OSI OLISAH said the destiny of Rivers State now hangs in the balance as a result of the postponement.
