The suspects who were arrested on 25th of April for alleged murder and other crimes are IFEANYI KALU, GOGO DANIEL-UME and IKADOI MICHAEL.
The last time the matter was mentioned in court; Justice WALI had advised counsel to the suspects to file a formal bail application before adjourning the matter.
Our correspondent reports that the presiding judge was not in court today and no reason was given for his absence.
The Police also failed to produce the suspects in court as was ordered by Justice WALI and there was no one to explain to the plaintiff counsel about the development.
Addressing newsmen outside the court, counsel to the plaintiffs, O.C HIGHER-KING expressed disappointment over the absence of the Judge and the suspects.
He described the continuous detention of his clients without charges as injustice that should be condemned by all.
Speaking on behalf of the families of the suspects, the mother of one of the suspects, BLESSING KALU called on the Inspector General of Police to order for the release of their children or charge them to court.
